Joe had his last UTA (USAFR weekend) on December 10th and 11th. It also happened to be the weekend of the Christmas party! The unit gets together and everyone brings their families for a potluck in the hangar at Scott. There is a bounce house for the kids, everyone is able to take a tour of the First Lady/Foreign Dignitaries' plane, AND Santa comes and brings the kids one present (with the help of mom and dad of course!). Nathan asked Santa's other helper for a "big bulldozer" and that is just what he got! See? Santa DOES listen!!!

| I had everyone dressed in lots of layers. The last time we went it was about 50 degrees inside the hangar, so I was concerned about the kids staying warm. It was much warmer this year and much more comfortable! |

| Then he gave up and decided it would be just as nice to let Daddoe open it...plus at the rate he was going, we would have been in that hangar at least until Christmas Day! (He got a Little People nativity, just like Nathan's.) |
