Birthdays!

Birthday season has hit our house! My dad's birthday was on October 23rd, mine was November 3rd, my mom's is November 19th, and Nathan's is the 26th.

On Tuesday we all went to my mom and dad's house to celebrate my birthday. My mom made one of my favorite soups (Italian), and salad. It is so much easier to eat at home with Nathan since he is getting a little loud and likes to show off his great baseball arm by throwing food at restaurants. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. Nathan made it so much more special this year. He "helped" me blow out my candles (my first birthday cake in probably 10 years-ha!) and "open" my gifts (aka eat the paper). He even got me two books for us to read together-I love my Mommy Because... and Spot Loves His Mommy. I know we will have lots of fun reading them together!
