Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year! It was so much fun having Nathan to take trick-or-treating and then sitting at home together as a family while other kids came by later. Nathan liked standing at the front door and pounding on it as he saw other kids walk up.

We started off the evening by going to my friend Jenn's house for a party. We had a great time, hanging out, but knew we wanted to take Nathan trick-or-treating on his first Halloween, so we only stayed a little while.
We got home from the party about 6:45 and took Nathan trick-or-treating for about 45 minutes. We decided to put him in the wagon and take him around. It turned out to be a great idea because he is such a wiggle wart and he was able to sit back and relax (literally, he was laying back and drinking his milk-ha!). He started standing up toward the end though, but overall the wagon worked out great! He LOVED taking candy out of the bowl at each house. The funniest thing was that he would sit in the wagon and start throwing his candy over the edge as we walked from house to house. I'm sure there were some happy kids on Sunday morning when they went out to play and found candy all over the sidewalk in front of their house! Nathan had so much fun trick-or-treating.
