Nathan's new badge

Last night I had open house, so I stayed up at school to get some stuff done (it doesn't start until 7:30 p.m., so it makes for a VERY long day-like a 14 hour day.  Ick.).  Anyway, I called to check on the boys.  When I talked with Nathan, he was very excited.  I asked he what he was so excited about and he said "look Mommy, I have a new badge!"  I heard everyone laughing in the background.  Joe took the phone and told me that Nathan had held a badge (that my dad gave Nathan from his seminar earlier in the day) up to the phone for me to see.  If only I had a fancy smart phone, maybe I could have seen it!!
