Beginning of June

Summer vacation has started off great!  We have done a lot of different activities including:

making pizza
going on play dates with friends to the park...
....and swinging...
...and swinging!
going to Costco to shop and get frozen yogurt...
and having personalized play dates for two!  Our babysitter requires that we bring the boys two days a week in the summer, so I send them together one day a week and then they go separately another day.  That way I get one day to run errands and one day a week by myself with each boy.  So far Nathan LOVES it!  On our first Mommy-Nathan day we stopped to get a donut before heading to the library and City Garden.
He joined the reading club and picked out four books and three movies!
City Garden with the McNeill family
Lunch time!
Then at noon a few members of the local circus showed up to perform a few things.  We got to watch them perform and Nathan was even on Fox 2 News that evening with my dad!

Unicycles?  No thanks!
Super tall unicycle?  Double no thanks!
My dad's friend John was asked to participate in the juggling act.  He was such a good sport!
After we got home it was time for nap and then some painting.

That night after Will got home we all played together.  Will even shared his firetruck with Nathan:

Will thought the engineer's hat went much better with the firetruck than the fireman's hat!

Then it was time to vacuum the kitchen!

After working so hard all day there is nothing like climbing up into the rocker and reading a book!
