Family Visit: Day 1-The Arch & CityGarden

This week my cousin, Adrienne, and her family were in town.  We had so much fun doing all of the "touristy" things in St. Louis!  Tuesday we got up and went to the Arch.  It was Nathan's first time and he did great!  I thought he might be a little scared because it is so high up, but he couldn't get enough of looking out the windows!  After we came down and were walking outside of the arch he looked up and said "Mimi, look, I can see the windows!"  He recognized that the little black squares at the top of the arch were actually the windows he was just looking out.  After we left the arch we walked to my dad's work and "picked him up" to go to lunch.  We headed to Subway, walked him back to work, picked up the cars, and headed to the CityGarden.  The boys had fun playing in the water for the next hour before Nathan and I had to leave because he had a very important "nap date" to get to!

A train happened to come by while we were walking to the arch.  Nathan was so excited-he had never seen inside the top of a train car!

In front of the arch...the sun was in their eyes.  It doesn't help that Nathan does that face a lot when I try to take his picture anyway!
