Parents As Teachers Vehicle Day

Every spring and fall we do the Rockwood Parents as Teachers Vehicle Day.  This is the first time that we have been able to go that Will has participated.  He LOVED the Kennelwood Animal Care van (there is a dog on top of it so he kept pointing and saying "doggie!"), the police car, and the motorcycle.
Safety First!

Same picture from Fall 2011.  Look how much he has grown!

Will's turn.  I couldn't get him to stand up, so I guess I'll have to have him sit each year.

Motorcycle-Will looks ready to ride, even with his sour face!
Even though the helicopter was gone because it was needed elsewhere, there was still something new and exciting to try this year-holding the fire hose and pretending to spray Mommy!  Nathan asked the fireman to turn it on, but luckily he said no!

Will's turn!  "Where's the water?"
"This hose thing is serious stuff, Mom!"
Then it was time to go get fitted for bike helmets.
My favorite little boys and me
Will did really well as she fitted him for his helmet.

Nathan making sure she did a good job.  He always wants to make sure his brother is safe!

Zonked little boys = successfully fun morning
(They had to wear their helmets home!)
