Nathaniel went to visit the doctor for the first time today. He did great! The doctor was impressed that he has only lost 2 oz. since birth because she said some babies will lose up to 10% of their birth weight! (This made me happy because I was a little concerned about breastfeeding. He is an awesome eater!) He did so wonderful at the office. It was cold and he was stripped to his diaper, but he snuggled up with me while wrapped in his blanket and made it through the visit without REALLY crying.
As for the first night at home...Nathaniel: 1, Mom and Dad: 0.

he's beautiful. i'm so glad to hear that breastfeeding is going well. it's hard work, but worth it!
