Happy 10 Months, Will!

William is 10 months old already!  Here is what he was up to this past month:

• He tried to go from knees to standing (pulled his right foot around and tried to push up).
• He took his 9-month pictures with Roxana and then a few weeks later took family pictures,with Mommy, Daddy, Nathan, Mimi, and Bapa.
• Took two trips to Innsbrook with Mimi, Bapa, Nathan, Mommy, and Daddy.  One trip included trunk-or-treating.
• "Walked" while Mommy held his hands.
• He hosted the Lafayette Babies Play Group at our house!
• He ate his first "real meal."  He had lasagna for dinner!
• He mastered the "Da" sound.  It is really funny because I am trying to get him to say "Mama" but when he goes to say it he says "Dada!"  So frustrating!!! :)
• He started cruising...not much but a couple of steps here and there.  The first time was on October 22nd around his activity table at Innsbrook.
• He started clapping when we started singing "patty cake."  Nathan did the same thing...it is so cute!
• He waved "bye-bye" for the first time on Halloween!  He waved to me as I was leaving for work.
• He went with Mommy, Daddy, and Nathan to the World Series Championship parade and ceremony at Busch Stadium.
• He went from hands and knees to hands and feet.
• He started standing up in his crib, so we immediately lowered it to the lowest level!!
• He started moving from sitting to standing, mostly against the couch.

Other fun stuff:

• His favorite toys are balls.  He has to have one in each hand though!
• He no longer screams like crazy while in his car seat...the secret?  A DVD player!
• Whenever Nathan is in bed and he is still up or if Nathan is staying at Mimi and Bapa's, he crawls to Nathan's room or around the house looking for him.
