Joe really wanted to go to the World Series, so we bought tickets when the Cardinals were still in the NLDS for game 7. We didn't think that the World Series would go to game 7 since it hadn't in 9 years, but it did! As the day got closer, we thought it would be awesome to take Nathan for a little while since this is the last year he is free at Busch Stadium. Also, Nathan had been asking to go to the baseball game since we basically watched baseball every night on t.v. for the entire month of October. We decided to take him for a little while, so we got downtown at about 5 and into the park by 5:20. My parents hung around downtown at the rally while Joe and I took Nathan around the stadium for about 1 1/2. We took him down to the Cardinals' dugout, let him make a Pujols bear for himself and Will at Build a Bear, and then had dinner. He had chicken tenders and fries and an ice cream bar. He had so much fun! When my parents asked what he did, he answered "I went to the World Series!"
