Happy 19 months, William!

Will is 19 months old!  This month he learned a bunch of new words and even started saying a couple of phrases!  Here is what Will was up to this past month:

• He wears size 5 diapers and 2T clothes.
• He sleeps from 8:00 p.m. until anywhere between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.  He naps from 1:00 p.m. to anywhere between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m.
• He got his top, right canine (7/10/12), bottom, left canine (7/18/12) and, top left canine (7/19/12)
• When you ask him what a cow says he will now say "mooo."  A few weeks ago he'd just say "mmmmmm."  (7/11/12)
• He identified something (the oven) as "hot."
• He can point to his eyes and nose when asked.  He will also point to someone elses eyes and say "eyes" without prompting.  If you aren't careful he'll poke you in the eye!

• no (my favorite! :))

• peese=please
• saryee=sorry
• bess you=bless you (he said this for the first time after he sneezed-he said it to himself!)
• hi Dave!  This was his first phrase. (our contractor walked into the house and Will walked around the corner and said "hi, Dave" so casually.  It caught us all off guard!
•  macine=medicine (he takes Claratin every night)
• eye da=eye drops (he takes eye drops every night)
• ide=slide
• mock=milk
• thank you
• reedy, sot, oooo (ready, set, go!)
• cookie
• ceeral=cereal
• bee-bees=grapes (Nathan called them the same thing!)
• wa-er=water (sounds more like water now!)
• He loves to play with his toy vacuum, but he enjoys destroying his brother's trains and puzzles more.  :)
• Thanks to my cousin, I think I have figured out how to manage his eczema a little better, but this past week it got really bad.  I think we might have to go to an allergist to see if can figure out a better plan for the seasonal allergies and maybe that will help a little more with the eczema.  The doctor was really surprised I was giving him Claratin and eye drops still during the summer.  He said we should have been able to stop the eye drops in May, however if I stop them for a couple of days it takes us a week to get his eyes to stop gooping up so bad that his eyes are "glued" shut in the morning.  We'll see.

Since he didn't have a doctor's visit this month, there isn't much to report!
