Last Monday Nathan had his second dentist appointment. This time the dentist's son who is in dental school worked with him and he was so great with Nathan. Last time they just counted his teeth and gave him a ride in the chair...a very expensive ride in the chair. This time though they cleaned and polished his teeth. When he mentioned to Nathan that he was going to clean his teeth, I was really nervous because I didn't know how Nathan would react. But, he made sure Nathan was really comfortable with all of the instruments before he started and Nathan though it was so cool that he got his teeth cleaned. He was also excited about his new toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, and two "treasures" he got to pick out from the treasure chest!
