We got to Nana and Grandpa's at around 4:00 p.m. and Nathan was ready to PLAY! Grandpa set up all of the family's trains upstairs, so he took Nathan up to check them out. He had so much fun operating the trains and watching them go around and around. It was a lot of fun watching Grandpa and Nathan bond and spend time together each day doing something that both of them enjoyed doing so much!
After Nathan played with trains for a little while we decided to go to Pilo's for dinner. One of our favorite things to do in "The Valley" is to eat at Mexican Restaurants. Joe's parents have a few that they really love, so we are ready for them to take us whenever we get into town!
It seems to be a tradition that they boys try their first lime/lemon while we are in Texas with Joe's parents. Nathan tried his first one in August 2009 while we were visiting and Will tried his first while we were in Texas over Christmas. The faces crack me up!

After we got back to Nana and Grandpa's house, we let the boys play for a while...
Then Will took a bath and got an awesome hairdo!
And right before bedtime we left Nana and Grandpa open their Christmas present from us! We got them a new digital camera. We let them open it early so that Nana could practice using it before we left and we could help her learn how to use all of the fun features on it! Luckily she seems to really enjoy it and hopefully we will be receiving more pictures from Texas!
In the evening on December 24th we went to Uncle Herman's house to celebrate Christmas Eve. Almost the entire extended family was there and it was great to see everyone. Will even got to play with some of his cousins!

Then it was time to open presents. Joe helped Will open his presents while I helped Nathan. Nathan had so much fun opening all of his presents and just like always, Will could have cared less, he just LOVED the bows-ha!
